FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ROY SCORES EX-95
DEFOREST,
WISCONSIN -March 7, 2003 – A Holstein Association USA Classification
Committee has scored ABS bull, ROY EX-95. 29HO9023 ROYlane Jordan-ET
is now tied with CONVINCER as the highest classified bull at ABS.
“ROY is a bull who has a tremendous-dairy frame,” said Roy Hetts, Holstein Association Classifier. “His exceptional scores for dairy character and frame were obvious in his daughters that I have seen; they were noticeable for their width of rump and great front ends.”
In addition to his Excellent classification score, ROY is a Gold Medal. To earn permanent Gold Medal Sire status from the Holstein Association, sires must meet the following conditions: be at least 87% RHA, reach a minimum TPI level, have a minimum reliability of 90% for PTA Fat and Type, and be free from all undesirable recessives and enzyme deficiencies. ROY sires daughters with strong frames, outstanding feet and legs, and picture perfect udders, as indicated by his +3.00 PTAT.
“ROY is
definitely continuing his sire JUROR’s legacy,” states Scott Bentley,
Dairy Product Manager. “The strength of his cow family and the care
of the ABS Production Team have combined to create the most impressive
individual in the ABS bull barns.” With ROY’s ideal combination of
traits he remains the #1 selling bull at ABS along with being the
#1 semen production bull at ABS.
