THREE BULLS SCORED EXCELLENT AT ABS

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -February 25, 2003 -Three ABS bulls were newly classified as Excellent (90) on Monday, February 24, 2003.

“The ABS Dairy Sire Line-up was selected from strong cow families that transmit excellent type,” states Scott Bentley, Dairy Product Manager. “We expected an outstanding classification day and much of the credit goes to the ABS Production Team.”

Among those scoring EX-90 was 29HO9685 OZZIE*cv, a Lord Lilly son, who is an elite milk and fat production bull and all around udder improver. A strong, powerful frame and extreme dairy qualities allowed 29HO9899 TOUCHDOWN to score big in his first classification when he earned his score of EX-90. ABS’ new release 29HO9832 JUNGLE JIM, another udder and foot and leg improver, was also classified for the first time and earned an EX-90 score.

Nineteen other ABS bulls were classified that day with an average score of VG-86. Topping the list is 29HO9138 PIPPEN*cv who gained a point and is now classified as EX-91. Other ABS bulls classified for the first time were 29HO9732 MANNING VG-88 and 29HO9910 MODESTO VG-88.
