REPRODUCTIVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -November 22, 2002 - ABS Global Representatives will now receive additional training opportunities through a new certification program offered by the ABS Global Technical Service Department.

"The use of certification modules for ABS Representatives that are providing reproductive management services ensures an accurate, consistent, high quality product offering, capable of producing superior results for our customers," states Dr. Neil Michael, Director of Technical Services.

For example, the estrous synchronization module tests a Representative's knowledge of bovine heat cycles, synchronization protocols, hormonal use, and how to interpret heat detection results. Other certification modules to be administered by the Technical Services Department include: nutrition, cow comfort, herd health, records analysis, sales, udder health, genetics, A.I. technique, and RMS program management.

The certification program provides both fundamental and advanced training opportunities for ABS Representatives, and results in certification for two years from the time of training.
