SANDBULTE NAMED DISTRICT SALES MANAGER

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -November 7, 2002 - Merlyn Sandbulte has increased his District Sales Manager responsibilities when he accepted an expanded territory promotion from ABS Global on Monday, October 28, 2002.
"Merlyn is an innovative manager that is constantly looking for new opportunities to serve the producer base," states Divisional Manager, Dwight Williams. "In so doing, he works closely with his Representative team and challenges them to stay focused on improving their product and industry knowledge to be of greatest benefit to the cattle producer. It is exciting to have an employee that is able to effectively adjust their management methodologies to fit a constantly changing environment."
Sandbulte began his career with ABS Global as an Independent Contractor Representative in 1985 and was promoted to District Sales Manager in 1993. As District Sales Manager he oversaw Representatives in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
He was recently awarded the ABS Global Beef Division District Sales Manager-of-the-Year for the 2000-01 fiscal year performance. Sandbulte attributes this achievement to the professionalism and work ethic of the Independent Representatives that provide services to the ABS customer base.
In his new position Sandbulte will be responsible for managing beef and dairy sales in the northern plains states of the United States. He will develop and implement a business plan for this geography to assure beef and dairy producers have improved access to professional reproductive services and industry leading beef and dairy genetics through our Independent Representative network.
