REVISED A.I. MANAGEMENT MANUAL TO BE RELEASED

 

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -October 11, 2002 - ABS Global is pleased to announce the release of its fifth edition A.I. Management Manual.

The A.I. Management Manual is a 224-page book, also available electronically on CD, that covers all aspects of getting cattle pregnant and producing genetically superior offspring. Included in the manual are chapters on bovine anatomy and physiology, heat detection and synchronization, artificial insemination processes and procedures, semen processing, storage and handling, maintaining insemination records, genetics, sire selection criteria, Genetic Management System™, heifer A.I., udder care, facilities and nutrition.


Harkenrider comes to ABS from Genex Co-op. Inc. where he most recently served as the Dairy Procurement Manager. He has also held positions as a Sire Program Specialist and as an International Programs Specialist for Federated Genetics.
