ABS Global Inc. is currently seeking a Genetic Management System (GMSŪ) Processing Specialist. The GMS Department works with global evaluators, field staff and dairy producers in over 30 different countries to generate genetically sound mating recommendations and reports.

The GMS Processing Specialist will use an in-house developed program to ensure GMS matings are processed in a timely and efficient manner. The main responsibilities include: entering in herd goals; ensuring accurate data entry; helping with sire selection; distributing reports to customers and assisting evaluators and ABS Representatives in trouble-shooting herd profiles

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a two-year Associates Degree in Dairy Science or related field, and have 2-4 years of related experience. Candidates must be team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, have strong attention to detail, good organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) applications and the internet is required.
